Network for Peace |
|
| Network for Peace was set up to continue the work of the National Peace Council, one of the oldest peace organisations in the UK. NfP is an organisation-based network, most members are groups who are working for peace, disarmament, or similar. The network’s members are wide-ranging (click here). The organisation aims to keep members in touch with each other, to act as a contact point for queries about peace organisations, actions, vigils, and demonstrations, especially in times of crisis or emergency. Network for Peace is dependent on member organisations to fund a worker for one day per week. (Donations are welcome!) NfP also receives support from the Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust for a further day per week. |
