Network for Peace

Network for Peace was set up to continue the work of the National Peace Council, one of the oldest peace organisations in the UK. NfP is an organisation-based network, most members are groups who are working for peace, disarmament, or similar. The network’s members are wide-ranging (click here). The organisation aims to keep members in touch with each other, to act as a contact point for queries about peace organisations, actions, vigils, and demonstrations, especially in times of crisis or emergency. Network for Peace is dependent on member organisations to fund a worker for one day per week. (Donations are welcome!) NfP also receives support from the Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust for a further day per week.
